All of project Number 5

Image
Proposal With the start of project 5, I'm going with Evaluating for this works theme. I have been looking at renaissance pieces and thinking that I will try to make a piece similar to one that I see and like. I want something that makes me think and go for the bigger picture. A piece that will make me look at the small pieces of the piece and make me wonder why was this added to it. I might go with some death scene. Making people think why is this happening. If they are cursed, is it a sign, or is it a being that is punishing them for their crimes they have committed. Or have a battle going on, good vs evil, person vs self, and person, vs person. Have key little ideas in one of those ideas to have people guessing what is going on and does all this one as one giant piece. These three pieces are giving me ideas right now, with the death theme and a plague theme. Just showing the suffering and pain in a piece with a smaller piece. I want a bigger picture of what piece I chose to mak

My finish piece of project number 4

Self reflection of project 4

In the area of creating, I think I did a good job, I took the picture form the web used it to get some ideas, then added my own ideas to it after wards. I think I also, explored it well enough. You can see the river runn off the page, the sky, the sun thats, bluish from the clouds and weather, and the green grass to show nature. Don't know what to add to the voice competency. I think it goes out as saying keep nature the same as it now or better. Purpose is to show what our nature looks like now and why we should keep it. Or it will get much worse over time and no one will be able to cherish it. Responding, don't know what will go to this as well.

Artist statement Project 4

Image
I used a picture from the internet to help me out with project 4. I took some parts from the picture and added some on my own to it as well. I went to contextualizing. The reason is, I want people to understand the nature of our world right now. How its ok as of right now, but if we keep up the pulling and stuff, it could get much more ugly and the outdoors for everyone could get worse. I want people to enjoy the outdoors and see the beauty of it. But if they up the polluting, then it will be gone for all of us. I had no artist that stood out to me. I just found a picture of waterfall off the web and took pieces out and added pieces in. Instead of a waterfall, I added more of a river.  This is the picture I got off from the web.

What I have now. I have added more to the scene. Add the mountains to the background somehow. Doesn't look like it right now. Tomorrow for my final day I finish project 4 up and put in my final draft of everything.

I have started my final draft for the fourth project. I'm using paint for this piece. The main colors I will have is blue and white. But, the blue's will be different sades, some will be dark while others will be more light. I'm adding green to the mountains for color as well. Blue and green for the mountain. Still, don't have any artist inspiration, I just looked up waterfalls and the picture caught my eye. That is why I decided to use it. Other than that, It's going really well. Tomorrow, I will be painting the mountains and starting on the waterfall and the rock beside the water and the rock wall that is showing from the waterfall.

This is what It's starting to look like now for the final draft. I got my idea from people who would just draw waterfalls and have nature co-exist with it in the background. I don't know how I got this idea, I just wanted to draw some water falls and stuf.

What I have done so far is, added more color pencil to the piece. What I'm going to do next is, add some type of paint to it to give it a different texture to it.

This is what I have now, What I plan on doing tomorrow is making the piece on bigger paper, adding the blue, light blue, white, and grey color to a new piece. Making it stand out. Wanting to use colored pencil and paint at the same time, So having two different textures that I hope will come off nicely and blend well together. I want this piece to come real well together.

I have started my 4th project. What I'm drawing for this one is a waterfall with mountains in the background. I think it will try out pretty good.  And to the left, you can see what the image look's like. And I have made good progress on this so far. By the time I finish this, I hope it's better looking. The three images you see are part of my first draft. More will come over time as I work on this.

Favorite sentence from group talk

My favorite sentence was "How can I combine a pirate and a farm to make it look off-balance."

4/5/18 research

For my next project, I will have to understand my piece from everything about it. Every little detail of this work. First, I'm going to find out some pieces to go off of. Next, make a draft or two to see how it come's out. Lastly, cite my sources and post my final draft to be graded by.

4/4/18 Artist inspiration

I tink three artitst got my eye, vincent van goh, Raphel, and de Vinci. seen most of their work and it caught my eye.

4/4/18 Proposal

What I want to do is, make a piece that goes with contextualizing. And after that, create something that will have an actual meaning to the piece. I would like to discover what type of artist uses this topic to make pieces for this topic. I think my skill level for this piece will be low and hope that my strength in drawing/painting will get better.

Well, I finished project number 3. I went with compare and contrast, with the shades, shapes, shadow's, and size. I went with my own ideas. Just got some help from youtube videos on how to draw some 3d shapes. Nothing has changed from Friday to today. It will stay the same, as I am done with this piece.
